From 8 – 11 June 2023, the EHA2023 Hybrid Congress took place at the locations of Messe Frankfurt. It was the largest congress to be held here so far. More than 15,000 participants attended the medical congress at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds.
The European Hematology Association (EHA) is the largest European-based organisation for medical professionals, researchers and scientists with an interest in haematology, hosting an annual Congress. During the live days, the programme consisted of more than 160 scientific and educational sessions and 60+ sponsored sessions highlighting the latest in practice, research, diagnosis and treatment of haematological diseases. The EHA Congress was continued virtually on the Congress platform from 14 – 15 June 2023.
EHA2023Hybrid Congress at a glance
The large plenary for around 3,000 participants found a spectacular setting under the impressive dome of the historic Festhalle. The completely revamped, adjacent Congress Center and the adjoining Forum of Messe Frankfurt were the venues for the attractive congress programme with expert lectures and workshops. Within 5 minutes, visitors could easily reach the modern Hall 3 from there via the Via Mobile walkway system. Its two event levels and thus around 36,000 square metres of space were creatively used by the organisers. Additional conference rooms and a large poster exhibition were installed on level 0. The large accompanying exhibition and the lunch catering for the participants took place on level 1.
The event was organised by the inhouse EHA Congress & Meetings Team together with the Core PCO, INTERPLAN Congress, Meeting & Event Management AG.
