Council and Annual Meetings Host Destinations

Each year, global destinations are selected for IAPCO Council Meetings and Annual Meeting and General Assembly that we feel can contribute to further developing the professionalism of the meetings and events industry.

Our 3 Council Meetings are bid for by CVBs and take place at strategic times throughout the year: February – linked to our AM&GA host country, May – in Europe and September/October – rest of the world.

AM&GA bids are open to IAPCO Members and are awarded through a detailed and competitive bid process.

Geneva Convention Bureau

The Geneva CVB is delighted to welcome the IAPCO Council in June 2024. We are pleased to showcase our unique congress destination to this international group of professional organisers. It’s a key opportunity for Geneva’s congress stakeholders to learn about future requirements and the evolution of association congresses in the coming years. The Vienna Convention Bureau is delighted to welcome the IAPCO Council to our city in May 2025.
