Marking an important educational milestone, the two-day scientific event “Laparoscopy is here to stay”, held on October 19-20, 2023, was dedicated to promoting and understanding laparoscopic surgery for the urinary system. The symposium included live 3D surgeries and hands-on training stations, taking educational excellence to new heights. Innovation and new technologies were a central element of the training seminar, which recorded significant participation. Following the event, the Organizing Authority announced the launch of a series of training seminars on laparoscopy, using 3D technology and AI in the future.
AFEA was the official organizer of the seminar, which took place at the new premises of the White Cross Clinic and at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Athens.
It was an honor for our team to be part of this high-level and state-of-the-art educational seminar, and to collaborate once again with the President of the conference Professor E. Liatsikos, Director of the Urology Clinic of the University General Hospital of Patras, President of the Hellenic Association of Urology and the European School of Urology, but also with Mentor Lefkos Stavros.
