Production designers gathered in Spetses
In October 2022, the team of Erasmus Conferences & Events conducted the inaugural and very inspiring “Production Designers Gathering” in the island of Spetses, which brought together Production Designers from 36 countries and 5 continents. In a spirit of camaraderie and bonding, the 250 participants sailed off to this experience on a chartered boat and set their foot on the charming and car-free island of Spetses for three days full of presentations, panel discussions, practical workshops, yoga sessions and open-air sketching activities.
Loads of energy, countless ideas and big smiles were the main ingredients of an event which was a major success and offered an amazing experience to all who participated as well as to Erasmus Conferences & Events, the professional Conference Organizer of the event. The high levels of stress on the eve of the Gathering were replaced with the love and appreciation shown to our team members by the participants who were enthusiastic with their experience and the excellent organization. Among them were famous production designers such as Rick Carter (Avatar, Forrest Gump), K.K. Barret (Marie Antoinette, HER), James Chinlund (The Batman, The Avengers), Sarah Greenwood (Atonement, Anna Karenina), Grand Major (Lord of the Rings, The power of the dog), Beth Mickle (The Suicide Squad, Drive), just to name a few.
It’s great to turn 30!
This year, Erasmus Conferences & Events turns 30 and in early January, our team gathered for our annual meeting and a trip to the Northern part of Greece. In the shade of the sacred rocks of Meteora, we met and shared what made us proud and what made us learn in 2022 and we set the tone for 2023: Consolidating experience, breaking ground, investing on education and professional development and restructuring to advance the business are key to our plans for 2023. Following the meeting, we visited the extraordinary Museum of the Royal Tombs in Vergina, enjoyed some wine tasting in one of the leading Greek wineries in Naoussa and finished our trip in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki!
Supporting company sports
Recently, the CEO of Erasmus Conferences & Events, Ms. Georgia Tsatsou was awarded by the Hellenic Organization of Company Sports & Health for her continued support in the development of company sports in Greece. Erasmus Conferences & Events served as the Official Travel Partner of the “3rd World Company Sport Games” which took place in Athens, in 2021, amidst the global pandemic situation with thousands of participants from all over the world. Looking forward to welcoming the 2027 European Company Sport Games in Athens!
